Railways

Welding Engineers has a wealth of expertise and knowledge of working on railways across Scotland and Northern England. Our team of fully trained engineers have the necessary certificates and passes allowing them access to platforms, tracks or wherever they need to be to ensure that work is carried out safely and effeciently, to help keep the stations operational and accessible to the public. Our variation of work extends from designing and manufacturing new signal boxes, stair cases, landing platforms including handrails all fabricated from either GRP or steel, also repairing platform roofs as well as routine maintenance and emergency repairs. Airports & Air Bases

Welding Engineers have extensive experience of working on an airfield environment and dealing with the particular hazards occurring. We carry an airfield insurance policy to ensure both ourselves and our clients are covered for any eventuality. Our team of experienced engineers have automatic clearance for both civilian and MOD sites. Civilian clients include Glasgow, Standsted, Edinburgh & Prestwick Airports either through F.M. Companies such as Inviron & Carillon or direct from the airport. Services provided include our full range of doors, cladding and fabrication work which are tailored to meet the contractual obligations at airports. Military clients include RAF bases at Leuchar, Leeming, Coningsby and Odiham. Successfully completed contracts include:

MOD

We have an unrivalled experience of working on a variety of MOD sites including Naval, Army & RAF establishments. With our team given suitable security clearance we can access most MOD sites in the UK and provide our specialist door, fabrication and roofing services. |
Retail

With our 5 branches spread throughout the UK, Welding Engineers is well placed to service the needs of the retail industry nationally. We have some 60 vans operating, providing a 24 hour service for repair of doors, dock levellers, airbags and all items associated with loading bay systems. In addition, our fabrication division can offer a maintenance service for items such as trolley rails, handrails and back of store items such as cages. We are pleased to number among our partners, businesses such as BHS, Morrison's, Asda and Sainsbury's as well as various retail shopping centres across the country.
