Mersey Superfold Fire Resistant Folding Doors & Lift Gates

RECEIVING CHANNEL:
50mm x 20mm galvanised channel to seal door structure (landing gates only).

REAR SEALING :
Galvanised mild steel section for securing back pair of pickets to structure.

TOP TRACK :
Doors top hung from fabricated bow type steel top track.

BOTTOM TRACK :
Galvanised mild steel 31mm x 25mm rolled channel section. A fabricated heavy-duty bottomtrack is also available..

WEIGHT:
Approximately 50kg/sq.m.

SPACE REQUIREMENTS & DIMENSIONS:
Refer to standard drawings.

FINISH:
Galvanised. Powder coating to any BS/RAL colour is available at extra cost.

OPTIONS:
Vision Panel: Frames (for landing gates only): 102mm and 230mm wide leaves (for car gates only): Mathews catch.

APPLICATION:
Mersey Superfold Lift Gates are renowned for their strength and durability.

Tested in accordance with Clause 8 of BS476 Part 22. 1987 for uninsulated sliding folding shutters to provide 4 Hours Fire Resistance. Test Report Warres No. 56014.

In addition to complying with the above requirements the shutters have also been designed to comply with the latest EEC safety legislation.

GATE FRAME:
Heavy duty galvanised mild steel double channel vertical pickets, fitted with precision hardened ball bearing concave pulleys at the top and malleable iron cast guide blocks at the bottom. Hot rolled steel lattice bars pass between and interconnect the vertical pickets.

LEAVES:
152mm wide x 1.6mm thick galvanised mild steel leaves with vertical edges rolled to form round hinging section within back and front connecting rolled hinge sections.

SHUTTER FRONT:
Fabricated from hot rolled steel channel with full height plates each side and connected to leading pair of pickets to form heavy-duty impact resistant front.
